i bought the schwaben coolant vacuum tool -

i know how to fill the system with the tool, can you use this tool to evacuate the system too?

By evacuate do you mean removing coolant? The vacuum fill rig will not fully evacuate the system and is only used to remove air/some moisture. You have to drain from a low point prior to its use for it to work properly.

+1.... and if you want to get out as much coolant as possible (draining from the corner auxiliary radiator for the respective coolant circuit), alternate between jacking up each front corner of the car.
