Front End Clunk

So Ive been chasing an annoying front end clunk for months now. Anytime I turn at lower speeds theres a consistent clunk. I have Ohlins RT and have replaces end link, top hats, adjusted preload, you name it. nothing seems to fix the problem. I will post a good video soon but Im at the point where i'm going to punt these coils in the trash because of how fed up I am. Any help would be appreciated.

Have you seen the threads about the steering gear clunk and potential fix? There are a few, this is the big one:

I have but didn't help the problem I was having. I've tried almost everything.

Hmm, these noises are frustrating. Sounds like you tried a lot of things. What about the swaybar bushings? Some people have noted noises related to the subframe bolts being a bit loose also

Please check my post from a few months ago. I have R&T as well. One of the front shocks had developed a small anount of play but resulted in loud annoying clunking at low speeds.

Does it sound like this? -

Clicking sounds when you turn the steering wheel while stationary/slow speeds.

I've been down this rabbit hole for a very long time and finally fixed it. You basically need to buy new strut bolts (1 for passenger/driver, x2 total)-

https://www.fcpeuro.com/products/bmw...-9-07119905418

Cover it in anti-seize, and torque it down further to 55-60 I think. That'll do the trick.

0 sounds. Worked for my KW HAS kit, and a few other friends' coilovers (KW V3).
