The downpipe comes with a no CEL guarantee, if you get a CEL they will replace it free of cost. It uses GESI cats, same brands used with their B58 and N55 proven by hundreds of users

First time I am hearing about this for the S55. Is this a new active product? I'm only seeing the catless offering on their site.

If the stock downpipes already have high flow cats, is the difference in flow with aftermarket high flow cats that significant? If there was that big of a difference, I can't imagine how a CEL isn't triggered.

I run stage 2 on my 6-speed M4 comp with stock everything else. Works perfect. I don't want the torque peak that the stage 2 gives anyway as it only upsets the cars chassi and tires brakes loose, making me slower. Therefore i have also reduced torque 20% in all gears. It makes the car much nicer to drive, less wheelspin, kinder to the whole drivetrain and also crankhub for those who are worried about that. The car feels sportier with a more linear torque curve and it feels more naturally aspirated.

The power difference is not significant on this engine even if you go from stock to catless. The sound difference is

Per BMS and PTF , you get that much even with a tune. Notice its only 2-3% more from stage 1 to stage 2

Bm3
Stage 1 91: up to 20%HP / 22%TQ
Stage 1 93: up to 22%HP / 23%TQ
Stage 2 91: up to 23%HP / 26%TQ
Stage 2 93: up to 24%HP / 26%TQ

When will you have the product available on your website? Looks like AA doesn't sell it themselves unless through a vendor.

Resonated catless downpipes are pretty darn quiet paired up with a resonated exhaust.

I used to run fully catless downpipes with a straight pipe on my N54 and that was LOUD.

My setup now with resonated downpipes and an akra evo system sounds just a tad bit louder than a car with upgraded midpipes. It's also as quiet as stock with the valves closed.
