What am I missing in regards to pricing for these things? Just today I saw this pop up. If sticker is $180K or so, no way you can put another 180K of options on top of that. These "dealer fees" are such a scam.
http://www.cars.com/vehicledetail/de...7442/overview/ This car is extremely desirable, but not worth $400K IMO.

Wow, what will all the Porsche guys do? Looks like pretty much all of the allotment for GT3 & RS for the next few years are spoken for by guys in this thread. It would be interesting to see who, if anyone, walks the walk.

Would anyone drive that car on public streets with that gigantic wing? No doubt it is an awesome track weapon and many would love to have for the track but you have to have some pretty damn deep pockets to shell out $359K for a track only car. As long as BMW does the M3 right, I'm in for the long hall. Would love to move up into an M5 but it just seems to big and I'm guessing will never be anything else, big! The M3 looks to be my goldilocks just right choice.

Haven't really considered it yet - only had M4 3 mos. But for fun most likely candidates are another M4, M5, C63S, 911 or F-Type R coupe.

-911 gts. Better drive than the M4. Stick for this one. My M is DCT. Just drove one. Hotness. 11.
-another m4. individual this time- yellow with full leather and CCB. Only two options i did not get and want. Fuck my msrp was 80,500. Getting pretty spendy so the two options plus individual paint would make it 95k+. Hard to swallow. -would have to drive the Merc GT-S. like it. fast. -outside chance Z06 or CTS-V. LT-4 hotness. Need to drive. z06 most likely between the two. -s63 coupe if i get soft. look great. always wanted a frameless car with both front and rear windows that go down. plus a/c seats. really wish the M came with those. -looking at a older porsche 912 now -nice lexus ls400. old school one with low milage. 2000. -2001 jeep cherokee. done. last three are most likely the next year or so. 912 for cruising with the wife and want to get into classics. LS for road trips and custom stereo. 2001 cherokee just cause they are sick. |

Will drive the M4 happily for a bunch of years. When it's time I'll look at the next generation M3/M4. After I buy it, I'll no doubt complain about how the F8X was better in so many ways...

Although an X3M would make obvious sense for me, I'm interested in the next Tesla model as well. Sure, it's supposed to start <$40K, but I would have no problem loading it up to $70K+ if the performance and style at that level is appealing to me.

Either another M4 or a C63S coupe or a 911 something. However, after I settled down from my "need to have a Porsche" experience this summer, my head is more along the lines of I'll replace the M4 with another M4.
