Another victim, exact the same issue. My dealership quoted about $3000 total, $800 parts and balance labor at $230 hourly. My insurance Geico took my claim but I expect their estimate no more than $1200-1500 based on past experience. Any recommendations to close this gap? This is a leased car and is it ok to repair at Geico recommended shop or shop other than dealer? Thanks!

What parts make up the $800 cost? Might want to check vs online sources for the same and ask them to have their service or parts dept price match. My ex dealer quoted nearly $900 for radiator which was less than $400 elsewhere.

$230 an hour? Is the dealer in Beverly Hills?

Yep, the $230 hourly labor is crazy even in SF Bay Area but no way to challenge labor rate right? Thanks for contribution
