Individual Orinoco Metallic with Amaro Brown F80. Help me choose wheels!

Only one I know of in the world. I had my heart set on getting a custom order with Atlantis Metallic, but couldn't get an allocation. I was all set to keep my MW M3, but I found this one and jumped on it. Orinoco Metallic doesn't photograph particularly well and looks best when lit. It's a grey with very strong blue-grey highlights. Pics of the interior are coming, especially since it has the brown individual wood trim. I bet you lot would hate it, but my wife loves it and it's growing on me.

First mod at 500 miles is a M-performance HAS kit, thanks to RRT in Sterling, VA. So far so good, but it makes me want wheels even more. My wife insists that I get black wheels, I'm partial to a silver, since this is more of a classy color. That said, I would love for the car to stand out a little more. Thoughts? Wheel recommendations are definitely appreciated. Please try to keep them around the $2,500 mark without tires

I'm pretty partial to the HRE FF04.

As for as other mods, I think I'll try to keep the aero black, instead of carbon fiber to keep with the classy theme (and match the competition package pieces). Likely Lightweight front lip and modified M-performance side skirts. Does anyone know of a diffuser that would match that go all the way to the edges?

To be honest, either option is going to be a good one. I personally would go with Silver as I think the contrast between light and dark would look amazing. But black would also look amazing on this color as well. I know I'm not making the choice any easier but I honestly thing that Silver would be the way to go. But there is always an option to get wheels refinished as well.

just some food for thought. But I personally think Silver.

As far as the rear diffuser, I'd suggest 3D design as it is end-to-end without looking gaudy like a vorsteiner (or 3D Design style if you don't mind generic). If you're avoiding CF, you could just get the side skirts and diffuser wrapped in gloss black. Once you're done with them, you can peel the gloss black vinyl off and sell it as carbon fiber, and the pieces will have been protected and will look brand new.

Vinyl can look amazing, here is my valve cover wrapped in fire orange vinyl.

I generally always prefer silver wheels and on that beautiful car of yours its no exception. Black wheels tend to get lost, especially on darker colored cars, and it just looks like one rolling dark mass. Silver gives a nice contrast.

Update! Turns out that MP HAS and some sweet HRE wheels make s a huge 'effin difference!

So what was the story behind this car if you don't mind sharing? Pretty sure you have a 1 of 1 spec being it's Individual paint and leather, wood trim and 6MT.

No idea. I was working with a broker and when I found it he went after it. Apparently they didn't want to give it up since it took trading an M5 allocation to get it (although I did get a discount in line with what I see on the forums).

Whoever ordered it has great taste

New question guys: I'm thinking of going all gloss black for the front lip/sideskirts/diffuser. What about the rear spoiler? Gloss black or body color? I don't think I want carbon fiber anywhere on the car.

I would definitely go with brushed aluminum wheel to give it contrast.

It's mostly Lups fault.

Had a few reserved slots for final 6MT F80 production. That one was spec'd as close as possible to my first E36 M3/4 Evo (Orinoco/Hazelnut), but it was with CF roof, so someone modified the order after it was released. There's another one in a different combo coming.

Last time I saw it was on an E36, but it looks drop dead GORGEOUS on the F80. Good choice on the FF04s...just put a set on our M2 recently

This look close to Kawasaki lime green, but maybe a tad darker.
