Re71R ride quality

I got RE71R's for my base F82 on stock suspension and the ride was actually weirdly supple with no real vast improvement in steering feel.

Fast forward 7k miles later and the ride quality is absolutely horrid but suspension and chassis feel along with steering feel is absolutely amazing.

I did not know i could get steering feel and any feel like this.

Is this just a byproduct of worn tyres or do RE71R's behave differently at different segments of their life cycle?

Definitely different. I loved the performance on my RE71Rs up till the point I was forced to replace them. However, the noise was too much for me after it past it's half way mark. It was enough for me to say begrudgingly that I'll never do them again on a daily set.
