If you're claiming petrol is expensive then buy tools. I dont see the issue. Petrol is the cheap end of the spectrum. Welcome to long island.

$180 from a reputable shop doesn't sound unreasonable to me if you're not willing to DIY...

Why would I buy tools that I already own. WHo is spending 200 dollars on a jack when I already have one????
If you read the original post, I didn't move my tools yet.

I lived in Nassau county for years and a hour worth of work is not a 200 dollar job when no welding is involved. You must be used to getting ripped off and been living on in Suffolk too long lmao

in a pinch you can reuse the stock DP donut gasket if you have no choice, but if youre trying to save $, then dont be cheap and just shell out the $20-30 for a new donut gasket if you change exhausts. If you are swapping exhaust plumbing, I'd pony up for new gaskets. At the end of the day, you are driving a 80k car.
No. Unless you have 100k miles theres is NO reason to replace any exhaust gasket. They are not head gaskets or oil pan gaskets. They are not one time use.
They can be reused dozens of times

Edit ESPECIALLY DOUGHNUT GASKETS. THEY ARE DESIGNED TO BE REUSED

Also for the record there are no doughnut gaskets on this car. They are flat press gaskets between the mids and dps
