FS: Dinan HAS Coilover Kit
Back up for sale... sold car. Alright, think I'm going to throw these back on my car... Up for sale is my lightly used Dinan HAS Coilover Kit. Amazing HAS kit with linear spring rates for front and rear springs. Makes the ride more compliant, slightly stiffer and tighter than stock. Reduces body roll significantly. Dinan recommends to reuse factory front dust boots which have the integrated upper spring pad. See Dinan installation instructions, page 7. Price: $Sssold *** $500+ off retail *** https://www.dinancars.com/products/s...arts/D190-9140 Local pick-up preferred in So Cal, OC/LA. Will ship, only if paid by Zelle and exact shipping is paid for by buyer. I get a discount on shipping. Check my iTrader, tenure and posts if you have any doubts about using Zelle or if I can be trusted. Thanks. Last edited by 11LMBiSTT; 06-05-2020 at 10:08 PM.. Reason: Info. |

I have nothing but good things to say about the Dinan HAS, feels so OEM, but better. I've driven and rode in cars with KW HAS and its nice but I really thought the Dinan kit felt more stable and not bouncy like the KW. I also thought the KW kit was pretty stiff. Very similar to OEM like ride quality, but felt more planted and stable, while retaining edc. Look up some of the reviews on the Dinan kit here on bimmerpost. A lot of M3/M4 and M2 guys ran this setup and loved it. The Dinan kit in terms of how low you can go is more on the conservative side, which was still plenty for me since I didn't want to chew up my CF lip and splitters. Lol. Bro. Where did you get that info? Seems like your opinion. A lot of people that know suspension that I spoke to prefer the Dinan kit over the KW. I think M Performance and Dinan are very similar and IMO tied for best HAS kit. Some people just prefer the M Performance HAS because its OEM, so warranty, etc is not an issue. Also, not aftermarket thats why its the most expensive HAS kit. Don't get me wrong, M performance is nice but Dinan is just as good. I would rate KW second or third after M performace and Dinan. Ride quality is very much stock like but more planted. You don't feel as jolted/bounced when you hit a dip, like oem tends to. Slightly stiffer, but I liked that. Tightens everything up and allows you to lower it a bit to your liking. Some may say I'm biased, but I have had both kits. So thats how I feel. Both Dinan and KW are well engineered and good kits. I just felt the KW to be a bit too stiff and bouncy for me. |

Dyno'd spring rates:
Front 267 / Rear 670 lb/in, both linear. According to Dinan's website: Spring rates are nearly 50% stiffer in front and 10% stiffer in the rear. Substantial reduction in body roll. Last edited by 11LMBiSTT; 04-24-2020 at 10:10 PM.. |
