I'm planning to try and enable adaptive headlights and advanced bluetooth. I would certainly appreciate a step-by-step walkthrough from anyone who has done this before! |

any tuner shops do coding? There is one that I've found but they are super expensive - hundreds. I can drive to EAS for that!
Anybody find an experienced shop that'll do it for 150 or less? |

Just completed coding our F80. Covered most of the things I wanted. Turned out to be pretty easy. I'd imagine anyone that is comfortable around a computer and following instructions could knock it out.
I did the following: Window close/Mirror fold/unfold via keyfob Remove idrive disclaimers Change nav speech to British English (girlfriend is from London, suspect she'll get a kick out of that next time she uses it!) Door LED's in reverse Tested everything and all is well. For whatever reason, it took about 30 minutes before the mirror fold/unfold commands worked from the fob but window close worked right after pushing code to car, as did all the other options above - go figure. Everything I needed was a simple google and/or forum search away. Funny note, the site that is floated around on this forom for buying the enet cable is run from someone our in Concord so if you order you get it super quick assuming your in the bay. |
