I will provide more details as the system progresses. We are still in the prototype stages so nothing is actually official. We are working on what finish we will be offering because we understand the brushed look is not for everyone. This is what we are using for the prototype. The final product may vary.

On this system the exhaust has 100mm tips. We will be offering 90mm as well. Remember this is still a prototype set-up. We do think we have achieved a very good sound quailty while going this route although. I do assure you pricing will be fair. We understand that BMW customers are tired of paying the

"BMW TAX"

that many others charge. Our goal at Active Autowerke is to give an excellent sounding exhaust with a considerable weight savings and an increase in power. There will be several variations, Axle back system, Mid Pipe system and Catless Down Pipes for Off Road use. It will be available early 2015.

Not that my opinion matters, but I love the brushed look. The tips also look good. I much prefer a regular exhaust tip rather than this double walled business that everyone is jumping on. Good jobs guys. I'm sure all of Miami will be rolling with Active Exhausts in no time.

DCT this time gonna do manual on next M3 in a couple of years to switch it up and keep it interesting

Yeah that's the issue in having right now, ordered dct but my heart is telling me manual, decisions decisions I still have time to change my mind

I was in the same boat. I'm getting DCT. In the end its best of both worlds.
