OP, do you feel the power gains (Max gains of 20hp and 31ft-lbs of torque at the crank) AWE has posted for this exhaust on their website are accurate. I am looking for a small bump in power, not only sound. I know it may be hard to feel but it should be noticeable.

The thing that bothers me the most about the S55 is that massive crack, boost dump, fart, or whatever you want to call it at higher RPMs. The AWE reduces this dramatic dump to a minimum. I've grown to like the lower RPM sound this car makes, but really disliked and felt uninspired by the sound at higher RPMs. I still don't think this is a special car like the E92. BMW gave us everything we could ask for: faster than most anything on the road, fantastic looking, great interior, relatively lightweight, and massive handling. But it lacks soul. I think the solution for me will be to turn over the newest turbo version of the M3 sedan as my daily driver and own a highly modified E92 to quench that thirst for an inspiring car. I'm not disappointed with the car at all, I'm just really like. I don't love it. |

Fantastic write up! love the detailed explanations and photos to go with them. The video was great too and gave us all a good idea of the sound this exhaust makes. I look forward to future posts for other products as you will now be contacted right and left for reviews! :

Wow - Money2536 does it yet again!
Really great read, and i'm sure we all appreciate the time and effort that went into this. AWE really does make fantastic products - glad this solved most of the flatulence problem haha! |

Exhaust sounds great! AWE makes great exhausts. The M3/4 certainly have their own sound but it sounds good! Their S4 exhaust sounds downright exotic and simply phenomenal for a V6. |

Nice post thank you for taking the time!
If anyone has a resonated version I'd love to hear more sound clips of that exhaust in sport and non-sport mode |
