So were gonna ignore the fact they charge 500 dollars for a set of trunk and hood emblems, but go to this picture I took. CSL Style headlights for the M3 $700 For the M4 thoe $1200 I mean what the fuck lmao do they have a bias against M4 drivers I was going to get the gts tail lights but its the same thing a $400 markup compared to there M3 tail lights. Now I dont know if theres different sizing or wiring, but I found the same products elsewhere for the reguler non marked up price so kinda weird I mean was going to try out bimmerplug but not when theres a million other stores selling for $400 dollars less anyone have a explanation for this?

So im looking at them and they are shaped differntley, but I mean still there marking them up compared to other stores that sell both for the same price. How is this company still in buisness I mean everything they sell is just marked up you can find the same product for usually half the price somewhere else(not even talking about fake carbon versions) was looking at some carbon spoiler they had, and it was 300 bucks less somewhere else. Whats even funnier is they put they hand make the product when it isnt even there brand LOL

To be clear, plenty of price gougers. That doesn’t make them a scammer.

A scammer takes your money and sends you nothing or a cheap incorrect part, then ghosts you.

It’s up to you to be an informed consumer.

EDIT: This in no way is an endorsement of them, but only pointing out the thread title is incorrect as they do not fit the definition of a scammer anymore than your Dealership Parts Department does.

I agree the vendor has the right to sell items at any price; that does not make him a scammer. They also don't have a monopoly, so you can search and get the same items cheaper if you wish.

Other than that, I agree with everything you said. The website is filled with marked-up copies that you can find elsewhere with more reputable companies.

They scammed me in a sense. I received teh carbon fiber bages as a Bday gift, but the sent the incorrect one for the front. After a hassle of emails calls and pictures of the oem one, I returned the incorrect front emblem and they sent me another incorect emblem. Then wouldnt respond to my emails. Useless junk

I just put my trust in them for a new head unit touch screen…I’ve already made a fuss and have been all over them like a fucking hawk lol. No funny business will be tolerated. 👋🏻👋🏻 I even found the owners cell phone number and texted him.

I’ve heard a lot of bad, but I wanna give Kevin the owner some credit…he did field and answer all my questions. Had one of his employees call me to make sure the head unit was the correct size and version etc.

They definitely have a poor business model. M owners have to educate themselves when looking for performance and cosmetic parts because of the M tax. This company charges absurd prices for the same Ali products sold by plenty of vendors (including other forum sponsors). So with little effort you can find they charge 2-3x more than other vendors already marked up Ali prices.

They really are terrible. All I’ve found in my research on them suggest there’s 2 groups of people - those that have never bought anything from BimmerPlug and those that will never do so again. I’ve seen numerous examples here and in Facebook groups of people getting bad parts with little to no customer support. Their website says they receive all overseas parts at their California location for quality control before shipping to customers. BS.
I filed a complaint with my cc co and the bbb but I don’t expect much to come from it. If you need it…
