Whats the latest suspension software for 2015 M4 ?
Hi Guys ,
Had my 2015 M4 now for nearly a year. Quite a few issues but mainly is suspension. At high speeds over 100 car is very twitchy and bouncy like its got a blown shock. Feels completely unstable and actually sometimes like its just gonna float right off the road. I have the adaptive suspension " apparently" but when pressing the button between comfort-sport-sport plus there is absolutely zero change in the way the car drives. Doesn't get firmer or softer just same same. Its also bouncy when i go hard into corners. Car been to dealers many times and they say its the latest software version although wouldn't show me when was last upgraded only the current version which is F020-18-11-531 Any ideas or new software versions would be most welcome as im going back there again tomorrow. ( They forgot to top up oil ) Not sure if related but sometimes in sport plus the car judders when i floor it Put brand new tires on also a few weeks ago as dealer said probably tires need changing and still same. ( Tried different pressures also ) They have a brand new M4 CS in the showroom that im 90% sure to buy but they wont let me drive it as zero miles and if it drives as crappy as this M4 then i dont want it which is why i gotta find this issue here. Thanks |

Are your springs, shocks and struts worn/blown?
Not sure where you are (other than if your user name is any indication) but the rough roads could have worn the suspension. No amount of software will fix that. Not sure how many miles you have. I’d check to see if any of your suspension components need replacing. KW DDC or Bilstein B16 Damptronic all work with existing adaptive suspension systems without error cancellers and will still utilize your suspension buttons. The judder you feel could be normal with the CF driveshaft. Hard to say without sitting in your car. I know mine has a slight vibration at lower RPM, when driving off. Disappears soon after. |

Hi and thanks for your reply
Cars only done 40,000 KM and I’m in Bahrain I’d expect some change though yes when I press the button . I’ve never driven another M4 so I don’t know what it should be like but definetly isn’t right |

Hi , I don’t get you ?
So does this mean I don’t have the latest software ? And really even on current software should I not notice some kinda difference in ride quality when pressing the suspension button |
