Complain to the building see if they would cover the deductible as insurance should cover it.

The alarm makes a lot of noise when the car is raised. I see the garage is several floors underground but is their no security at the gate to hear it?

As for exotics, there is no black market for their OEM wheels. M wheels are easy to sell, OEM or not.

Sorry to hear, BTW. I would be fuming if I walked up to this.

That’s very sad to see and sorry they targeted your car. Hopefully you can recover security footage. That’s part of the reason why I am investing in a dash cam with parking mode.

Did you have wheel locks?

Sucks to see the whip like that.. was the car on stock height? If it was lowered, be hard to get a jack underneath it since most likely you have to use low race jack or some wood underneath to get some clearance. Hopefully your ins will resolved this asap.

I just jacked up my car today to swap over to my summer setup. I was surprised to hear the alarm go off since I never unlocked the car. I know it didn't help here but on the streets it give me an additional 1% comfort level. I'm installing my dual channel dash cam after seeing this tread today. Had it on my 340 until December and haven't bothered to put it on the M3 yet.

I know nothing is perfect but at least this is a little bit of a deterrent.

Btw does anyone know if the wheel comes off if you turn the wheel all the way to the right or left? If not then perhaps thieves won't bother to steal just the rear set..

Hard to believe - yet it's real. I hope insurance will take care of what needs to be done.

While CCTV camera footage would be helpful (hopefully you can obtain it), having a dash cam in parking mode is another option.
