Hey there guys, so long time lurker here finally got the courage to make an account lol. I guess its more out of laziness or not being the most involved person on social media that I waited this long but a couple of my friends told me after my 3rd or 4th bmw its time to officially join the forums. There have been some really cool post recently here that also got me wanting to finally register, and so here we are. Nice to finally interact with you all

I've been lucky enough to own a 2017 F82 M4 comp since about spring 2019, right before shit really hit the fan here in the states. I had an f33 428i msport, before that I had an e92 335i msport, and finally felt like it was time to get an f-series with some balls on it. Boy does it have balls...I bought the car one owner with just over 11,000mi for about $50k usd, and didnt really know what to expect. I know right now thats THE steal of century but it was honestly about even market value at the time of purchase. Remember, we had no idea how ugly the g-series was goin to be back then, and alot of people I knew held out for that car sadly. Anyways since then, I've put about 15,000 glorious driver's miles on the car between canyons, backroads and mountain climbs and it has never once let me down or disappointed me in the slightest. It sounds campy af when I say this but it has been all the car that I ever dreamed it would be and more in terms of a dailiable sports car that looks good moving as well as it does parked. Currently sitting at just under 27k miles as of today and I plan to keep her to 100k godwilling, car will be paid off this year too so looking forward to no car payment.

The car is fairly well optioned without being overkill as I opted for only what I deemed I would need as a driver (and what my fiance would want in their sports coupe), but I could have been a bit more minimalistic for weight saving advantages if i'm being real:

-Black-Sapphire Metallic over Merino-schwarz Leather
-PPF all front facing body as well as rocker panels and back quarter of body.
-Dual clutch (either trans would have been fine but I got a deal on the dct)
-S7MA/S7MN M-Competition Packages
-S4WL Carbon Fibre Accent Black Chrome
-S21T BMW LA Wheel M Star Spoke Styling 666
-Carbon Fiber roof, hood, and boot. Full Carbon Fiber interior as well.
-Individual Option High-Gloss Shadow-Line
-Adaptive M Chassis/Suspension
-Sun-Blind, Rear
-Heated seats D/P
-steering wheel heater
-Comfort access
-Driver/parking assist, PDC, Surround view (for when parents come into town)
-Real time traffic,HUD,and full nav profess. (not that you need it with google+phone but again parents...)

Theres a few other bits and options Im leaving out but thats most of it right there.

I'll probably do a 2 year driving impression or something down the road, I'm not really sure what the next post is yet tbh. Im more happy that I finally bit the bullet and just registered to the forums instead of flirting with the idea like ive done for the last few years. The stroker S65 is really, really epic. For the street it is the ultimate machine in my opinion

Yea Ive heard from a couple others that for street use and sound alone the s65 is the way to go. Ill probably be trading in my 2009 335 for an e93 m3 at some point cus thats what my fiancé really wants for her daily. Heres hoping prices come down a bit next year

To all my so cal brothers do you ever do any meet ups and ride like mullholand, kanan, or AFC stuff like that? I've also been going to bimmerfest since 2016 until it closed for covid but its opening up again and Im wondering if you guys ever send it as a group there.
