Windshiled Sun Shade reccomendations...

I just had to return a pair of sun shades that I purchased, because when I unfolded them I realized they were way too huge to fit in my small M4 windshield. Can anyone recommend some very small sun shades that they have used on their M3/M4? Also, they can't be a single folding sun-shade because I have a car cam mounted to the lower-center part of my windshield. Finally, I usually shy away from branded items, so I wouldn't want it to say "BMW" in huge letters or anything.
Cheers!

Isn't that illegal in Florida? I think this would be the best solution of all, but I don't want to be given an expensive ticket from the police.

It is and people do it but think about the last time you speeded and broke the law?

What possibly wrong can you do with front tints?

I have front tints and I love it rather than carrying baggage of sunshade

it is illegal but I doubt the cop would even notice I have 70 percent in the front and 30 all around. 70 percent looks clear to me it amazing how much glare it reduces too when I bought the car new without sunglasses on the glare was so bad it hurt my eyes. I used to carry a sunshade but screw that putting up and down gets annoying after a while and the best protection for your dash is tinted windows with high heat rejection

You're right and believe me most of them don't even have equipment to check it except the slide meter on side windows. They have to send you to dmv for testing. If the job is done right, you can always claim factory like I do lol

I use the bmw oem one but flip it so the bmw letters are facing inside. It works well, in conjunction with the rear window and rear door windows sunshades built into the car

+1 on total front tint. I got the lightest for the windshield, but it really does help in the summer. Figuring with Leather, it would minimize wear long-term...

Get clear UV protection for the front to keep the harmful stuff out, also really cuts down on heat. As for the shade BMW offers one, I really like the quality and it fits perfectly, my dealer includes them with every sale.

Are you going to be ok in Arizona with just the tint? I'm in FL and am contemplating tinting the windshield.

Front sunshade?

Have all the windows tinted, but does anyone have a rec. for a front sunshade? I want to protect the leather dash!

I just use the one that BMW has. It looks good and works very very well. You can also get a clear tint on the front which will help a lot while you're driving and don't have the sunshade in.

Sunshades work well from other vendors as well, specific for your F8x minus the BMW tax.

That sunshade looks pretty jacked up.. But your point about other options is noted and reasonable.

Ha...it does look wrinkled...what do yo expect from the Florida sun in a two year old F80 with repeated use?

Forum never disappoints.
