that is a horrible deal. You should be getting at least $4-$5k off msrp and MF of .00129. I would suggest out of state. Keep looking!

Can anyone refer me to a dealership where I can get a good deal? I am in CA and willing to definitely do out of state. Of course, the vehicle does get shipped to me via truck would be a must.

I see some inflated MF 0.00149 (3.58% APR) here, and inflated $995 (vs $795) acquisition fee:

Monthly depreciation fee "MD" = (C-D-R)/N
Monthly lease fee "ML" = MF * (C-D+R)

MD = (75,120 - 48,096)/36 = 750
ML = 0.00149 * (75,120 + 48,096) = 184

If anyone could give me some feedback on this offer, would be much appreciated.

M4 39 mnth lease, MSRP $75,275 , european delivery. 12k miles, $6700 due at signing and $699 monthly lease payment including PA taxes of 7%

This was quoted a week ago, i understand the March might offer some better residuals and maybe no longer 39 mnths.

Many thanks

What about the money factor? Fees?

Lease sales tax in PA is 9%.

Sorry, as you can tell, not quite well versed on the subject of leasing. Dont have money factor or fees available. I know... I'm not giving you mch to go on.

I can second that. SB isn't looking to make deals right now. I checked there too.

Get that info before you even think of signing paperwork. Leasing is very easy for a dealer to manipulate because they can hide a lot of things.

PA Tax on leases is 11% (6% sales + 2% local + 3% lease) in the city of Philadelphia. If you are registering the car out of the city limits then its 9% like MRCUR stated.
Allegheny County also charges an extra 1% so leases there are 10%

Yeah its messed up. I don't know if there is any real reason for it other than revenue. Could be worse (aka Texas). The only benefit is you can pay it monthly and it will go down if you move out of state or out of Philly/Allegheny.

Still I'd pay an extra 3% to keep that nasty front plate off my car.

Moral of the story is don't live in Philly or near Pittsburgh.

Do yourself a favor and get familiar with leasing. It will save you money and aggravation in the long run.

+1

It took me about 2-3 weeks to read through a lot of posts on here to get familiar with leasing and also the games BMW/dealers play with all the numbers. For such a big expense it is worth it to know your stuff before making offers.

I placed my order on my m3 yesterday:
$1500 over invoice ( fair enough for me, in CA)
MF .00080 ( 7msd)
Residual 63% (36m / 15k)
Week 15 production.
Now I just need to wait until late mid/late May.

Great deal, you should be happy. Anything up to $1500 over invoice is great, esp. in California.

How much track time do you actually get at the PC? Actual driving time???
I just got back this morning from PCD, which was a great experience. The first part of the morning was about an hour and a half on the track in three stations - hard braking, skid pad, and small track course with slalom. We were on each section for about 30 minutes. My group was just me and the other person picking up an M4, and each of us, and our guests each had about equal time. This was then followed by a hot lap in an M5 driven by one of their instructors, which was all of about two minutes.

Then during the trail/rock course in an X5, it was about a 30 minute total drive with four groups of people, but half way through you switched drivers, so about
15 minutes of driving time each. There's also a factory tour which is about an hour to an hour and a half, as well as an hour or two with a product specialist to show you all the buttons and program everything with you.

I meant to respond to you a couple weeks ago as I did my paperwork, but forgot, sorry. I got all my paperwork via FedEx from the dealer, and sent it back the next day after signing everything. No notary was required, and considering they handed me the keys to an $80k car yesterday in SC, I'm assuming everything went ok without notary approval

Man, that sounds awesome! I'm changing to PDC but will try to get them to waive a $250 fee that they charge... I'm looking forward to it, great to hear it's quite an experience...
