I have a non-zcp and would love to add burbles without tuning the car. If this can be done via bimmercode i am SO in!!

Got mine this morning as well, works perfectly. No more popcorn maker noises!

Hmm if I can be turned off, I guess it could be turned on? Anyone can confirm this?

No, unfortunately not. I demo'd the beta and confirmed this. Bm3 is the easiest solution currently.

Need to request for the beta / test version through BimmerLink support in app, took about a day for Stephan to get back to me. Works perfectly!

This has been officially released as a feature about a week ago. Check out the iOS App Store

Thank goodness. That would have been the reason for not buying that mod. That burble noise is embarrassing and annoying. Reminds me of that southpark where the motorcycle guys came to their down thinking they were awesome when all others thought it was annoying.

Out of curiosity, does anyone know how ,mechanically, this works? Was wondering if disabling the burbles etc could have adverse effects on the engine/ exhaust or any of the sensors? I have the BimmerLink, and while I can understand turning off ASD (since it’s really a computer function), I’m a little hesitant with the sound tuning function (though I do like it off). Thx!

Does this work for car that was previously tuned for burbles? I bought a used 2015 M3 and am trying to get rid of the burbles.

So basically for sound tuning..

On = no burble
OFF = burble

Am i understanding this correctly?

Who cares about what other people think? Why are you trying to convince someone else that burbles are "childish"? Let people do what they want.

How would you feel if we told you "your M2 is crap because it's not competition model and looks like a squished pig?" but we're not confrontational so we're not gonna tell you.
I don't care what you or him do, if you want to look like a douche, you do you.

He he asked a question and I merely replied.

Nice try to M2 pig comparison, judging by your comment and love of fart and burp noises, I won't retort, I wouldn't want to offend a child.
you're both acting like kids now

Maybe I'm missing something here but you can already disable burbles with Bimmercode by disabling Active Sound Design. ASD off means burbles are off. That's what I did, forever ago on my ZCP. Never looked back.

had bimmercode months before i got bimmerlink. Turning off ASD on bimmercode did not turn off burbles for me.

I think perhaps this is a dumb question but I disconnected the plug in the trunk for the interior fake engine noise to stop.

I'm guessing I need to plug that back in order to access the ASD within Bimmercode? Because right now I have no such option in the menus on the app.

Or has not been released yet in bimmercode?

You'll need to plug the module back in since the app can't see that module to make the change if it's unplugged
