Today we are proud to announce the public release of our first MHD+ feature, ethanol content reading over CANBUS for F-series S55/N55/N13.

CANBUS sensor integration allows a truly flexible way for users to add a multitude of sensor inputs and outputs to the DME, as you are no longer limited by the number of "available physical pins." For the initial release, we have provided deep integration for two popular devices: the Motiv Motorsport Re|Flex, and the Zeitronix ECA-2 CAN.

Hooking up the Zeitronix ECA-2 CAN and flashing with our flash option preset for it will allow you to view and log Ethanol % and Fuel temperature (as pictured).
Hooking up the Motiv Re|Flex and flashing with our flash option preset for it will allow you to view and log Ethanol %, Port Injection DC, Port Injector errors, as well as the Re|Flex's auxiliary input and output data.

We have also added in depth safeties and failsafes surrounding this integration. For example, if there is an issue with a CAN sensor signal (timeout, etc), ethanol water contamination, Re|Flex PI injector issue, etc, the car will throw a check engine light and enter a low power limp mode for safety. The "Read Codes" screen in MHD will show these new custom diagnostic codes such as MHD001, MHD002 etc along with the description (as pictured). These error codes function exactly like OEM: they are properly debounced, maintain a "shadow code" copy when appropriate, and can be configured individually if they should / shouldn't cause a low power limp mode! We want to ensure 100% safety is maintained with all new features.

As you may have guessed, this all ties in directly with one of our next upcoming features, FlexFuel! Stay tuned!

How to deactivate Burbles:
- Activate Exhaust Burble Customization.
- Set Minimum RPM to 8000.
- Set Maximum RPM to 0. (200 is stock M4 value)
Thats the stock Burble Settings from the base M4 who has no Burlbes...

Angry 17 M240i DME update

Just got my car serviced as BMW and they updated the DME. I can no longer flash the Stage 2 map! It says dme not supported. Is MHD working on this?

Today marks the release of our second MHD+ feature, Antilag! It is available now for all MEVD DME's (S55/N55/N13).

Antilag allows you to quickly build a set amount of boost while limiting acceleration, then quickly take off once released. To activate antilag, press and hold the cruise control SET button (or LIM, depending on your region) on your steering wheel and apply heavy throttle. Our antilag strategy will adjust the engine calibration to build boost. Once boost is built, release the button and go! The time required to reach boost target will vary depending on your turbo, but even large upgraded turbos are able to hit high boost within 1-2 seconds! Use our MHD monitoring with a boost gauge on screen to get a feel for the time your setup takes.

There are also various safeties in place such as coolant temp, EGT temp, max duration per use, and cooldown time between uses. These values, as well as the time delay after button press until antilag activates are all set to safe values for those using the OTS antilag flash option. OTS users will have the ability to adjust the antilag boost target (max value depends on engine).
Finally, custom tunes will have the ability to adjust ALL of the above values. We will be uploading the updated XDF files today.

NOTE! If using antilag while rolling in an AT or DCT car, please ensure you are in Manual shift mode so that unwanted downshifts are avoided upon applying throttle.

If I am custom tuned does my tuner need to do anything to allow use of customizable anti lag?

The XDF files for the tuner will be available today but you can also use our flash option settings - if you want more boost / more aggressive anti lag then your tuner needs to create a custom anti lag for you.

Since alot of what MHD ever sees from people are questions covered in faqs, criticism and "when will anti lag be out for n54 tho.." I'd like to be the first to say great job! Seems super rowdy and highly customizable. Could be a game changer for us drag guys. I'm glad they could get it pushed out. MHD ftw

Hi, anyone able to log 7th gear on a DCT M4? My MHD monitor/logs go max to 6th gear.
Update: confirmed by MHD that 7th gear is not "reported" by DME for logging

Does MHD work with the THOR flasher wifi OBD2?

Considering either the GTS or Stage 1 and MHD seems like the best option over BM3 price wise.

Any difference between the two? Options for the tunes? Can I limit the torque for Stage 1?

GTS tune is a nice bump up from stock and the stage tunes do have the ability for torque reduction by gear. I can't comment on the flasher as I use the black MHD flasher. The flash times for that flasher are about 30 seconds from start to finish.
