Not to mention it’s also all of the R&D and labor that went into creating something that no one has done before and does what we want it to do. Why should someone profit off of their hard work?

That said I’m so excited for it to come out!

The wavy pipe isn't a new concept, I introduced this over 6 months ago in another thread while figuring out my EL set-up and finally starting this official thread...

It was laughed at, just like how the EL was laughed it before prior to a few of us posting soums clips.

Don't feel bad, neither is the pipe crossover.

Did they add a full 14"?

I would imagine with catless pipes and only one set of resonators that its really raspy with the valves opened. How is it with the valves closed?

I replaced only x pipe(it was instead stock resonator), 14 inch added and that merge. Before with x pipe car sound better. I will add 2 new resonators and x pipe after equal.

Edit: I will try to create custom x pipe after exhaust is equal. I am pretty sure is better than H pipe. I wish a proper x merge but space is very limited.

So active is releasing the midpipe in 2 days and not one sound clip from them? So I'm supposed to place an order and pray that it is the sound I'm looking for? I have an MPE exhaust so naturally I wanted to see the difference between resonated and non resonated because to me rasp is the biggest turnoff. For a company that I've respected since the e36 days this is not ok in my book.

That means there's still 2 days for them to post the sound clips.

We were discussing the sound a few pages ago so it must of been heard somewhere.

Fair enough. I think at this point in time we are all anxious for it to come out already. Honestly I haven't heard a manufacturer's EL set up that sounds bad. I know personally, I'll be purchasing it regardless.

I'm with ya. Def would like more sound clips from them involving different setups. stock/catless dps, stock/aftermarket mufflers etc. I'm just gonna wait til I hear plenty of clips. I'm in no rush to buy. I'm more anxious to just hear what it's going to sound like.

I hear ya, I would be ready to place an order if I could just hear the difference between the two versions.

Thehoffmobile on instagram has posted more videos of the active midpipe sound on an m2c. The in cabin sound is great.

That M2C kind of sounds like M4s in Forza Motorsports 7 (which obviously used some imaginary inline 6 sound for it rather than sound from real life M4s). Interesting.
