Window auto up causing electrical malfunction

Oh great forum Gods. Please help me with my plight. So when I try to use my automatic roll up function on my driver side boom I get a cruise control malfunction and it sounds like it's resetting some of the computer systems. Also if I do it when the cars stop started car won't turn back on and I have to cycle in the street and look like a dummy. I changed the window regulator recently because it role and checked inside there are no wires grounding. Anyone have any ideas? I've also tried the reset the window automatic roll up by holding down then up etc.

Thanks in advance- here is a link to it in video form

Still no help? Did it on the passenger side today. Wondering if this has happened to anyone?

Have tried to just code it again? For instance i just coded mine to roll up while i have the door open with the Carly app. I’m thinking if you do that it may reset any errors it’s having.

That is odd. Like a CANBUS error.
See if someone near you can swap switches to rule that out.

Do you have any other diagnostic software like ISTA that you can see what modules are acting up?

If this wasn’t happening before you worked on your regulator, there’s something you need to look at with the install.

Thanks. It was happening before the regulator. I was thinking this might be the regulator shorting but it wasn't. Good idea might be the switch. I'll see if I can get an ista to see what's happening

I had a bad trans-chassis ground, and it gave me a charge coolant pump signal implausible code, and weird cruise control behavior. I suggest you Take a look at that ground (actually remove it and inspect the contact points).

Will do, is it next to the trans on what side?

It's on the passenger side, connecting the trans to the chassis. Mine had visible metal fatigue on the ground strap as well as the contact point. Cleaning the contact surface fixed the code, but I replaced the strap and ran a secondary ground for good measure.
