I'm sorry but $18K is way overpriced for a used motor. You can buy a new BMW short block for $10K, a Carbahn built short block for $12K, and a full built motor and head for $16K...yes plus your core.

This price would only suit someone who blew their motor, can't find a core, and is desperate.

Even in the 0.01% chance that you blow an engine, the going rate for a low mileage S55 running long block is somewhere between $6-8k.
