Winter tires for 666m? or down an inch

I was wondering if there were any winter tire setups for the stock comp 666ms? If not I was wondering if a 19 inch would be better with a 8.5 or 9.5 setup. I'd prefer 19s but any idea what the size in 18s would be just in case?
Thanks for the help

Where do you live? Only ask because I'm in mid-atlantic (near Wash. D.C.) and I'll be getting some sort of all season tire instead of a winter tire since I don't need a tire to drive through heavy snow. I plan to keep car parked in actual snow (only a couple times a year), but want something that can perform in cold temps since it gets down in the 20's and 30's regularly during winter. Just a thought!

I'll be going with Michelin Pilot AS/3+ or 4 which are available in 20" sizes. Continental DWS06 is another good option. I'll probably do 265/30 and 285/30.

Nothing to be ashamed about going down an inch when it is cold.

If you live in pothole prone areas step down to 18s or 19s. Often you can't see them in snowstorms and the last thing you want is to be stuck on the side of the road in the winter.

437M's are going to have the best tire selection for OE wheels (with exception to the BMW winter sets a previous commenter posted regarding), and stepping down an inch will get you some nice increases in comfort as well.

I'm mid-Atlantic and I do 666M with Alpin PA4. Probably would do 18 or 19 if we got more snow but it's mostly icy conditions and a dusting to worry about here
