I was expecting July. Maybe earlier?

If you went strictly by the E92 schedule we'd get the car in 2015. They moved things up a few clicks.

US launch came a few months later. Typical for M cars. Hopefully this time it's simultaneous with Europe or at least close.

We have our European vacation July-August. I'm hoping ED is open by then.

It will be on sale to European customers in early Spring around Geneva time.
US Market debut will be around the time of the NYIAS.

That's right M3 in Europe went on sale around the 2007 IAA debut in late September.

Scott,

Thanks for all of the heads up and info on this website. This may be a stupid question, so forgive me, but I have had money down for the last 1/2 year at my dealership for the new M4. Does this mean I will likely be able to take delivery in around May?

Sounds like first NA deliveries are in April or May 2014.

Scott/Jason, any idea if the first batch of cars are 2015s? Thanks!

Does anyone know if ED M3/M4 will be taken out of dealer allocations or not?

If it's not from their allocation, does it seem likely dealers will negotiate from ED invoice price?

Thoughts?

Usually they don't but when a new vehicle is released sometimes the first model year it comes out of dealer allocations, ie F10 M5. Then later it does not. When I did my European Delivery it did not come out of the dealer allocation.

I will most likely wait for the LCI M3/M4 by than it wont be coming out of dealer allocation and can be had at European Delivery invoice.
