I'm 32 and recently got my first M, '17 ZCP M3 6mt. I've wanted an M3 since high school and I'm glad I waited until now. Best decision I ever made.
Most people I know are getting married and having kids. I went the opposite way. |

Man I am in the same boat but have not pulled trigger yet. My sensible side says don't spend $60k on a car but then again I have friends paying 2-3K a MONTH for au paire's or nanny's!! Now that sucks

I love my M3 just as much as anyone else here, but I would give it up in heartbeat if I needed the money for my daughter. Cars are just cars, can't compare them the love you'll have for your child. |

The good news is that I tested it out with my 2 year old niece and a baby seat in the back and she had a great time sticking her legs through the sport seat openings. It's a kid friendly family sedan. |

I'd be curious to know if anyone that bought an M when they were <25 YO lived with their parents at the time and had no other financial obligations.

First M was an E60 M5 at 18. I modded it like no tomorrow and had a blast with it throughout college. Still miss that S85 sound! Sacrificed a lot to be able to swing it, but it was so worth it. Sold it some months back for a Black Series AMG.

Haha the very same for me. A lot of my friends are on their second child now. I'm still happily single and turning 30 this year. The new '18 F80 can be my child
