The range posted is the specs provided to us by Bilstein.

30mm-50mm is the maximum range front and rear

None taken at all! We understand that some vendors provide a bit of a biased opinion.

FWIW, My take on the coils are that they are a touch soft in comparison to the KW V3, but still maintain the performance you would like out of the car. The car stays planted and firm through turns and through the course of spirited or track driving, but on a daily drive just about the equivalent to OEM

You can't go wrong with Bilstein or KW in my opinion

So does anybody have these installed? I have not seen any real world pictures or threads. Need to decide these or V3 for my new car.

I had them on my m4 and loved them. These, combined with camber plates totally transformed the car. They are going to go on my m3 once it get's here in a few weeks. I have no feedback on the v3's as I've never driven a car with them.

Is it true that a custom welded bracket needs to be installed in order to run the KW delete module on this coilover system? I heard differing opinions from two reputable vendors. Please let me know ASAP I want to pull the trigger on these.

I was on the same boat for a few months. I was waiting on reviews for the pss10s before I decided on them or the kw v3s. Since no real customer feedback was out yet for the pss10s I decided on the v3s. plus I figured if I wanted to sell them in the near future that I would be able to sell the v3s faster than the bilstein because of the proven time on the f8x platform so far by Kw. I wish bilstein would have brougth there product to the f8x platform sooner. So far I am loving the v3s compared to the H&R sport springs I had on before even though they seemed to be good on my car.

No comparison for the H&R sport springs to the KW V3 especially with proper alignment and corner balance.

Am giving serious consideration to the PSS10's for my M4 with passive suspension, but am laboring over the decision and wondering if the experts here can offer some advice over whether or not these seem like a good "fit" for me.

- M4 is my year round daily driver, ~40 miles round trip each day over some very horrible roads. I do winters on 18" and everything else on the stock 19".

- I enjoy "spirited" daily driving and 1 or 2 track days a year. I don't dislike the ride/feel of stock, but do find it to be a little bouncy from time to time.

- I don't see myself fiddling with the settings extensively, but love the idea of being able to dial in the ride to my liking.

- I really hate the appearance of the wheel gap, especially on the front.

Questions/concerns:
1) How are people liking the PSS10's from a performance perspective?

2) Any chance someone here has or has come across pics of an M4 on 19" wheels with PSS10's? I've seen M4's with 20" wheels and M3's on 18's, but no M4's on 19's. From the Bilstein specs it sounds like the minimum drop is ~1.2" (30mm) in front and rear, so just wondering how that'll look...maybe too low?

Thanks in advance to anyone who can offer some advice here.

I'd say minimum drop is lot less than that. I'm all the way down in the front and it's about 1/4 inch lower than swifts. Max drop is closer to 35mm.. I'd say the drop range is up to 35mm (lowest is roughly 1.4inches). These coilovers have a mild drop compared to other coils, likely due to the monotube shock design. They are excellent dampers though.

From a performance perspective, I love them - they absorb bumps well and control the body movements of the car well, and feel slightly stiffer than swifts / OEM setup (I've tried both). I have the shocks set at 6 all around (medium-hard). I ran them at full soft originally, and they were too soft and felt a little bouncy. Turned up the compression/rebound and the body motions are gone. supremepower has great prices for this coilover as well.

Sweet. Thanks for the info. Really appreciate hearing some "real world" perspective. There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of info on the interwebs on the Bilsteins compared to some of the other springs/coilovers that are popular right now. But I'm getting the impression it's just because there's not a ton of folks running the Bilsteins and those that do have them all seem VERY happy with them.

I'm also super encouraged that they don't ride that low. I want to minimize the wheel gap, but not slam it.

Thanks again for the response. Much appreciated.

So, has anyone put this on an F8X which EDC? It seems damptronic won’t happen anytime soon. I’m hesitant to pull trigger lol. Do I need EDC delete module? Will it even work? Coding? Also it seems that these need a a bracket welded on for accelerometer.... ugh any help out there lol
