I totally agree, the coupe lacks in the agressive department. The sedan's overall appearance hits a home run.

I hate sedans and am a coupe guy, but this M3 is a home run while the M4 is a big swing and miss.

Have to agree.....always been a coupe guy who said if you want a sedan, buy an ///M5.....but the ///M4 has NOTHING on the ///M3 look wise.....

Cheers,

First time I looked at it I was just like.... wow....

Very aggressive look and it looks much better than the M4. All it needs is a M Performance spoiler and it should be my next car in... say... 10 years when these become cheap?

This is no longer the case IMO, the 5 is now a full blown luxury vehicle as the 7 series with hardly no sport left in it.

I think there are a lot of former 5 series buyers that will be eyeing the new M3. It's large enough, offers full Merino leather, has options like HUD etc. It's not impossible that it will outsell the M4 even if the E90 vs. E92 sales is in favour of the coupe.
This is absolutely correct. Many of us F10 M5 owners are giving serious consideration to the F80. M5 is too luxury focused this gen.

Damn... I was pretty much set on getting an M4 when the LCI version comes out, but the M3 sedan looks so good that it might make me change my mind. The practicality of the 4 door will be an added bonus.

I keep looking at these pics......

....and damn! I knew the F80 was going to be good looking when the photos of the both the black and Sahkir Orange appeared. I didn't think it would achieve this much acclaim though. I want to see more sedan photos.

I will have to see the M3 and the M4 in person before I make my decision.

Well I am sure it is possible, there should be easily enough room, but if I would have an engine transplant then I would put in the S65 V10 out of the M5.
