F80 vibrations

Hi all, I need your help. I have a 2016 f80 comp and got some vibrations going on. Here's my situation:
- had no vibrations before mods
- installed spacers front and rear, no vibrations
- installed lowering springs, without spacers, no vibrations
- installed spacers with lowering springs, vibrations.

The vibrations start around 75mph.
Spacers are installed correct.
Anyone any ideas?
Thanks!

I wouldn't go to alignment for vibrations normally. But did you align the car after install?

I had same issue. Took off, cleaned with wire brush, antiseize and reinstall. Went away.

I cleaned everything as well, both wheel hubs and spacers were clean and smooth.
I did not do a alignment, think that would be necessary?

First thing that came to mind was alignment when you said 75mph+ vibrations start. That happened to me the first time I changed wheels alone.

So alignment is my best shot? I will get that done tomorrow.
Thanks all!

High-speed vibrations have always been my spacers. Clean with wire brush and loosely tighten in star pattern.

Factory wheels? Hub centric? Some aftermarket wheels require a clip ring or hub adapter

I just called Shoreline Motoring, they don't think its alignment.

Factory 666 wheels, spacers are hub centric.

I had no issues with just spacers (no lowering springs), and also no issues with just lowering springs (no spacers). The combination of lowering springs with spacers gives the vibrations…..

This drives me nuts.

Take the spacers off and see if the problem still exists

Double check everything is seated and torqued down correctly that was touched during the spring install. When I did mine I didn’t seat the spring correctly on the top hat.

If I take the spacers off, the problem is solved. But when I had the spacers on before installing the lowering springs I also had no issues….

It certainly doesn't sound like alignment if the vibration is only there when the spacers are installed. Even a bad alignment, doesn't cause vibration. Bad alignment would cause the tires to "chop" and after a few thousand miles, voila, vibration.

Be sure to check all clearances behind the spacers. Ensure there's no perforating metal debris. Ensure all bolts (rotor screws and spacer if spacer has securing bolts equipped) are flush correctly. The problem is either debris between spacers, OR a badly warped spacer, not letting the wheel seat correctly.

This honestly sounds to be more of a wheel seating issue than anything else.

Appreciate your reply. I cleaned everything, on the wheel hub and the spacers. Dont think it can be any debris.
The only option I can think of is a warped spacer, although when I seat the spacers I didnt feel any movement.

I might make the trip to EAS tomorrow to have it checked out, or get new spacers. I am now used to the looks of this setup so dont want to go back to no spacers.
