F8X M3/M4 Competition Package?

I have found that option code S7MAA is listed as the competition package.
After looking more in to it, I have found some suspension components are different if that option is selected.

I hope this means a comp pkg will be unveiled soon, but S7MAA is used as the option code for the ZCP for several different years and models of BMWs. It does say F82 M4 in the title and that is promising. I do like the look of black chrome, but it won't match the current front grill and gills. Seems like those would also have to be black chrome.

Its true. I purchased the Black Chrome Exhaust tips for the Competition package directly from BMW a few weeks ago. They are sitting in a box in the trunk of my car.

Not sure why it matters...once you swap your exhausts the stock tips will be away in storage...

I think people have already done that. I was just commenting to speculate on some of the cosmetic changes that might come with ZCP.

So, you are putting the black chrome tips on the oem exhaust, correct? I did that on my 335, using the black sport line tips to replace the chrome.

Correct. They are direct replacement tips. Pop the stock ones off, pop the new ones on. They look the same, they are just black chrome

I've searched, seems to be smoke but no fire. 2016 may have it available, may not??? My M6 has it, I think it would be worth it if it contains the right stuff.

Agreed.

The only news for MY16 is the F82 GTS. MY17 should be ZCP. We dealers would have been notified by now if there was ZCP for MY16. Trust me. I wish I were wrong and they do introduce it for MY16 but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Wasn't there some rumors around it before even MY16 was introduced? And will they really let M2 have similar power to M3/4 without having a comp package? Who knows, last gen I think they introduced competition package mid year.
