Welcome to the 21st century... Luckily you are more than welcome to spend your funds elsewhere, though if you find a better deal, do let us know .

I'd be curious to know how many of these are sold from Vancouver BMW. The vehicles I see there on a regular/daily basis, I'd say only Dubai (from places I've been) had a higher quantity of supercar sightings per minute (is that a stat? lol).
*Though I have yet to venture to Zurich, Monaco, or London for any length of time.

In 2014 Canada was the second largest M market per capita next to Dubai

That doesn't surprise me one bit. It has become common place to see teens driving R8's and 911's (with the N magnets on the back). For those not familiar, in Canada they use magnetic letters to denote new drivers.

Head downtown, Burrard and Robson area. Or by the dealerships around 5th and Burrard (SR Automotive is located in this area as well).

They do that in BC. Essentially nowhere else (though a few immigrants/newcomers do that in other parts of the country. Frankly, it is a good idea for other drivers, though i'm sure it has its drawbacks)

Vancouver certainly has its overly moneyed areas....though you'd find the same think in Yorkville in Toronto and, for my money, per capita no city in Canada has more ridiculous flaunting of supercar/nouveau riche money than my home of Calgary. Come to this town on a Saturday and hang out in the mission area and watch a parade of guys driving lambos, ferraris, bentleys, etc, all just going nowhere....

To put it in perspective, it is a city of only ~1.3 million people.

This is the place i got my car before the F80 from:

http://www.kulumotorcar.com/inventory.asp

Bear in mind the inventory is very low right now (nobody buying these cars in the winter) - but wait a few months....

And (other than the McLarens) those are all 2nd hand. There is also the local Ferrari dealership, etc, etc, etc.

All in a city where the nearest track is a 2.5 hour drive (we lost ours a few years ago and can't seem to get the surrounding municipalities to let us build a new one any time soon).

People here are stupid. Very.

Also, I got wind of the new Individual Launch Spec model package options on the M3/M4 that BMW Canada is offering. Some really sick combos! Both PDF's linked below.
I don't see the link in the original message to the pdf. Can you please re-post?

I have an ED M3 on order and want to figure out if I can get involved in this program.

The admission price is much higher than last years 2014 euro group trip where participants could spec their car anyway they like as long as they include all the packages which works out to a minimum 85k admission price.

At 110k starting for m3 this is a huge increase. I don't need or care for ceramic brakes nor the DCT. These alone would lower the cost down $12.5k.

Wonder if I can slip into the festivities and order my m3 spec'd out my way and just schedule ED around this event.

Holy crap... That sounds like one hell of an experience!

This sounds like basically the price of a fully loaded F8X, but you get free Individual Paint and Interior, plus a week long junket in Europe on BMW's dime!

Do any Aussies know if programs like these are ever made available to us? I would 100% jump on this for my next M...
