Exhaust Valve Delete Kit

Hi everyone,

Does the exhaust valve delete kit exist in the market now? I found the JRC but I don't think they are making it anymore.

I have a MPE and it seems like the valve rattles when it is closed (cold start). I want the valve to stay open all the time. Any suggestions? Please

Thanks

Start the car and put it in sport plus mode. When you hear the valves open and exhaust note change. Turn off the car and unplug both exhaust valve plugs. Wrap the plugs up I'm electrical tape and tuck them away. You valves will now be in the open position at all times and modes.

Will this cause any engine lights?

Yup no lights, but it does show a code if you scan for codes.

Plus +1 on the CG Precision kit. Install was a breeze and I didn't even need to put my car on a lift.

Thank you and going to order the CG Precision kit. Who did you order from?

I went to CG website and it does not look operational.

+2 on that, should be a factory option IMO.

While waiting for your remote kit go ahead and try it with valves unplugged while open. It'll give you a feel for always-open and you might like it. I run always-open and my foot learned how to drive quietly when needed. You can avoid any codes by using the BMW resistor plug, and the DME will think the actuators are still plugged in. Always cover open connectors and plugs, I cut fingers off latex gloves and zip-tie them snug.

My car has driver assistance package and would probably have an error code after.

I did this some time ago and I'm happy with it, I too learned to drive it silently when necessary but I was wondering if I had to/wanted to reconnect them, would I just reconnect the connectors or is it better to first turn on the ignition, put it in sport plus and reconnect? By simply reattaching them I wouldn't want to have the valves already open while the control unit would give the command to open them again by forcing them. I hope I explained myself, it's not my language...
