by the looks of it, that leather is done...
- buy a bag of rice and put it in a bowl to absorb the moisture - replace door panel - replace leather cover on seat back and seat bottom - replace foam on seat back and seat bottom - check for mold under the carpet |

How old is your son? Lol.
I'm 19 and I think I would hurt myself if I did this, haha. Seriously though I doubt it will come back, I would try getting a leather brush and a good cleaner like chemical guys leather cleaner (amazing results with this in my car) and see what that does, most likely it won't do anything though. I would be more concerned about electronics, I would take a shop vac and go hard on the carpets to get any water out.

do NOT apply anything to that until it's completely DRY!!! Take it to a professional (and reputable) detailer to have them dry it and treat it.
Pretty sure that can be fixed, but i wouldn't apply products to wet leather.

It's a Comp claim. They happen, it's not a big deal. That way, you're not worried about what costs what. It's a bad situation, but mistakes happen. |

this is one of the many reasons I always buy a black interior car, If any interior piece needs to be replaced, the match will be easier. |

Jk. Kinda... OP, call insurance for sure and have them cover it. That's why you have insurance. Sub'd to see results.

The conclusion is that unless you have a good insurance that covers these damages, repairing this is going to cost you. You could always sell a kidney for 200.000 euro on the black market and buy a couple of new cars.
I hope that lessons are learned here. |

OMG, so sorry to hear about your misfortune I hope your son learns a lesson from this never to do it again
I made a decision not to allow my kids or wife or dogs in my car for this very reason. I got the wife her own car which she can do as she pleases, I even have my own separate garage and no one as a key to it but me, this way no one can "accidentally" hit my doors etc |

I agree with Phil and call insurance
In the mean time make sure to get out and dry up as much water and moisture as possible and get damprid buckets inside ASAP. At this point with that much water your are going to be dealing with mold as well in the future if not taken care of properly. The carpets would have to come out and I'm almost sure that the insulation underneath must be wet as well. I wish you the best of luck with this |

Also the carpets tends to be full of hair almost like a barber shop If I would allow this to continue in my new car then I may as well buy a Yaris, at least I don't have to care about it. |
