What will be the replacement? Did you think about completely black wheels? I expect it to look cool with grigio telesto...

Got some r101's on order...will be a custom finish in Grigio Telesto . A little worried it will be too much body colored , but it is a dark color so hopefully it will look good.

Ok. So from the looks, P101 and R101 are completely the same? Or is there a difference? Regarding weight - how much lighter is the R101? (And price delta? )

you are correct, the styling is very similar with the P101's being a little thinner spoke and more concave. The R101 is the track wheel so the aim is for lighter weight. The r101's also have a inner bead that helps to hold the tire on the wheel in high stress situations. In reality I suspect the p101's and r101's would be the very similar weights in the same size. However they don't make them in the same size. the r101's are 18" or 19" and the p101's are 20" and up.
The main reason I switched is because of the tire selection. There is really only one choice if you are going to run a 20" wheel and that is the MPSS. And for a long time they were on back order and were not even available. The Michelin pilot sport cup 2's, Pirelli P zero's, Toyo R888's and Brigestone Potenza RE040's are not available in 20" sizing that fits our cars but they are all options if you go down to 19's... Plus the more I looked and lived with the 20'' wheel I really felt that the 19" sizing with a chunkier tire was a better choice. So that's why I switched.

If I chose a similar finish the r101's would have been 1k cheaper. but with the custom finish they were about the same. Im getting 19x10 front and 19x20 rear....I hope they fit up front.

the lugs have a colored insert that can be removed with a special tool while on the car without removing the lugs.

the gold is not an exact match to the calipers, I am not very fond of the gold calipers on the CCB. I really want to paint them red, orange, or yellow but worried it may screw them up some how. Ill probably just leave them gold.

Excellent choice on parts! I actually really like the satin gold finisb on the calipers. They are unlike any other manufacturer or brand
