Individual paint options catalog

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Guys

Is there a catalog somewhere where I can see the available Individual paint options? (ex: ferrari red, signal green, fire orange etc). I've searched and found one catalog in the bmw website, but it did not have any of the above colors listed as options.

Thanks!

Basically, any color might be an option, but BMW has to approve it. There's a great thread on this site that lists many of the colors that owners have selected, and the cost to do it:

The officials colors are nice, but a bit bland, IMO, so this list shows you the art of the possible!

Options are still MSRP ( or less if you're paying invoice ). ED only gets you ~7% off the base. Obviously additional discounts depending on what you haggle with the dealer. Never heard about 9% on parts.

Not so - there are ED discounts on all options and packages, including color.
For example, my "Sakhir Orange metallic" price was $550 on BMW USA web site, but the ED invoice is $500.

The only thing that the ED does not discount is US Destination & Handling charge (is $995 either way).

The discounts are not exactly 9% (some more, some less), 9% is a good guessing starting point.

That means that ED invoice and U.S. invoice are the same -- that's essentially what I was trying to say. Sorry if I wasn't clearer Dealers aren't necessarily providing ED invoice just because you're doing ED. But ya you're right the discount level on options does adjust but there's no further incentive with ED by default as you suggest.... Or at least that's what I was told by BMW.

This will throw off my numbers a lot
Every option, including paint, is residualized. Whatever is part of the MSRP is used in the residual calculation. Quite nice to only pay for a portion of the individual costs if you lease.
