Rear shock tower question

A bit of an embarrassing question incoming.

Does the F80/F82 have actual rear shock towers like the previous e36/e46/e9x m3s? I noticed that when I was removing the trunk liner in my f82 m4, there was no access to the rear shocks. In previous m3 generations when you would do a coilover install or shock replacement in the rear, you would need access thru the trunk for assembly and disassembly. It seems like with the f80/f82 this is all done underneath the car. Is this the case?

If so, does the f80/f82 even have actual rear shock towers and would there ever be a need to have access to them from the top?

remove rear wheel, you will be able to see the rear shock top plate. nothing in the truck for the rear shock.

Yes remove the wheel and you’ll see 3 bolts that are holding the top mount in. Remove these and if you have edc the connector will come out with it, and when installing, careful not to pinch the wiring. Fairly easy to remove and install. No more removing trim/carpet on the trunk

So does the rear even have shock towers if that’s the case?

Can the F82 ZCP handle stiff suspension in the rear without having to worry about the shock tower issues that previous M3 generations had? If there's technically no rear shock tower, then that would eliminate any such issues I'm guessing?
