The alpine white M4 on Bronze HRE P104's is lowered about 3/4 of a inch. The KW Lowering Adjustment Ranges ranges from Front: 0.6-1.2, Rear: 0.2-1.2. So if needed you could still lower this car a little more than 1/2 of a inch.

I'm very interested in these as a springs solution for my car. I find it odd that the manufacturer is so slow or unwilling to disclose the spring rates though. Patiently waiting on this info. I'll likely wait until spring anyway... so I have some time.

Ill be installing my has kit next week and would love anymore pics or measurements from folks that have installed this kit. Im currently on the f80 specific h&r's and while overall the look is awesome, the car is too low for my peice of mind as a DD in tulsa..at the moment the front bumper is lower than both my lowered gtr and coiled e36, so not so awesome for inclines. I'm thinking about using the .8/.2 eibach measurements as a starting point and tweak from there, but welcome any input.
Thx! Rm

Will this take away from the cars handling at all? If so I'll end up going for the coils eventually, but if these handle just as well as stock or even better I'm all for it

I am really interested in getting this kit. I do have a concern though and would appreciate input.
I am running stock 19" wheels with 265/35/R19 Pirelli tires up front. These Pirellis run slightly larger than normal and have only 3-4mm clearance from the stock coilover/shock. Because the KW kit will involve replacing the stock spring perches, is there going to be any effect on backspacing? Does any one know if the stock perches are wider or narrower compared to the stock? |

The KW perches are narrower. It all depends on how low you set your ride height. With the stock 19's you should have no problems

So I bought these from TAG (great price and easy to work with) a little while back and finally got everything aligned last night after having them installed for about 2 weeks. Before these I had tried H&R SS and f80 specific springs (F80s still for sale btw). While there was nothing technically wrong with either of those sets, I actually wanted less front drop and to have the rear closer to the stock height. This car splits DD duty with my truck, so while I really liked the look a little lower with the H&R's, front bumper height around Tulsa has been a major concern (and still is frankly) with our roads/inclines. I didn't think the ride was bad per say with the H&R's, but with the KW the car rides much less bumpy/choppy...especially in the rear it seems. I have passive suspension and was really regretting not finding a car with adaptive, but after installing the KW's I'm now content with the passive. The Eibach springs probably would've done the the trick for me from the get-go, but I wasn't sure when they would be released, and frankly like the ability to take this car a little lower later on if I'm not driving it on a daily basis. I'd like to thank TAG as they were very helpful with this purchase.

The best and easiest way to adjust them would be with the wheels off. If the car was jacked up to relieve the weight, you can reach in and adjust them without taking off the wheel. It's just a lot easier with the wheel off.

What sort of alignment do you recommend with the HAS? Is it possible to get more front camber with them? If so, how much? |
