Just traded my M3 for a 2018 M5. Good deals are out there for this trade if you shop.

As others have said, great time now to negotiate on the 2018's. Most dealers will give them away knowing the 19's and M5 comps are already around the corner. If they think you are a potential buyer and the car has been sitting in inventory... odds are they will sell you the car.

Enjoy the switch, the F90 is an animal. My only issue with them is I prefer the balance and size of the F80. The F90 is a beast but you can definitely feel it's a much larger car.

That all wheel drive power though...

Congrats OP. Car looks phenomenal.

I agree that is scary depreciation. Id personally never buy an M5/X5M new due to the depreciation. I'd only lease.
Just wait and buy 18 months used this car is going to be worth 50k less. M5 might be the worse investment of any other car on the market other than an S class

Agreed. I mean people were getting 15k off MSRP easily on the previous gen straight from the dealership (new vehicle purchases).

I made the jump from F80 to F90 also. I do miss the smaller feel of the F80 but that's about it. The F90 over all is an amazing car.
