It may matter in a few years, when someone will put together a 700BHP track monster template. Hopefully.

What's impressive to me is:

1. This car is hitting ~10.8 seconds/129-130+mph on FAST spooling turbos. There are tons of fast drag turbo cars built over the years that hit those speeds - on the laggiest platforms

2. He hit that using "normal" shifting technique on a 6-speed manual.

3. This is being routed through the stock transmission, clutch, driveshaft, and rear-end. I think this is particularly impressive considering he's reporting no slip. That tells me, or at least gives me hope, that the stock clutch in this very torquey application is going to have a long life.

Is it though? Many places define a 10-second car as reaching the 1/4 mile anywhere from 10.00 through 10.999.

The Dodge Hellcat on street legal drag radials was NHRA Certified to have been a 10-second car and it did the same time as the OP

Yes, a 10 second car is 10.000 to 10.999, but he originally said he 'break' or broke the 10 second barrier, i.e. a sub 10 second time (9.999 or lower)
