dyno numbers bm3 stage 2 98ron

Hi !

Today i was at a local dyno (Maha dyno) and tested my custom stage 2 98RON ... but the results are kinda disappointing... only 451bhp , and stock the car is doing 441 ... something is wrong ..
mods: k&n filters , ngk 97506 , catless downpipe , vrsf chargepipe and bm3 tune custom .

first picture is a comparation with a old stage 1(different seller) . with that stage 1 i was doing 516hp....

Definitely send logs to your tuner first. Who was it?

Some good suggestions above. Use an OTS tune through BM3 (Stage 2).

Something looks really off - what boost #'s are you hitting? Almost looks like you are running a stock tune. Your torque curve looks way off for a custom tune (compare it to your stage 1). This is a TUNE issue. Thus you will need to follow up with your tuner, unless you are skilled at adjusting the tune yourself.

so my plan is to measure one of my friends M4 competition at the maha local dyno to see results . today i send the datalogs to my tuner and waiting to see next revision . also my throttle sensitivity on sport+ is way off ... i press pedal like 30% and the car just go jumping jerking accelerate by herself .. idk ...

Doesn’t sound like your tune is working right at all and you should get in touch with custom tuners that actually know what they’re doing like Paul and Cary.

so yeah ... a little story ... first i've spent 1200$ on a stage 2 software , a very bad tune who caused drive train malfunction (cruising normally then after a press of a pedal boom , limp mode ) changed to stock verifying the codes , nothing , but something happened there... from there the car doesn't drive normally in my opinion ..

after that i choose bm3 . first flashing (bm3 stage2 ots 98ron) was awesome until 200km then drive train error , i contacted the tuner and he got the right ideea . RECODE ONLINE . that was the cause of my second drive train error because the coding was messed up badly , before recode online i was reading codes and i have like 100 codes of all type . well flashing custom tune stage 2 98ron after ots ... there was a difference but nowhere powerfull but more smooth and linear power delivery .

now the car drives good but i dont feel the power i had with a stage 1 from another tuner . maybe its something from my engine or maybe just a software manipulation . hope you guys to understand something from what i wrote because my english is not that good .

Did you replace the filters/downpipe etc. before or after you tuned?
Can't speak for the dyno results (they do seem off) but the throttle in sport+ is very sensitive on these cars, especially tuned.

Looks like you are holding boost fine. Your timing looks very strange. How many back to back dyno pulls are you doing?

How do you have 0% pedal accel and 100% throttle angle for so long haha?

that log is on street doing some 3rd pull 2.5k to 7.5k rpm and basic pulls .. i forgot to log on dyno . next time . until there i need to check my charge pipe installation , intake clamps , map sensors , spark plugs and so on ... maybe is something limit for safety , btw the car is working great on street , i do not notify any strange things or misfires

Who is tuning the car? The guy force opened throttle, you can see it as when you let off pedal it stays wide open. That explains the bucking.

Just dyno the OTS and I'm sure you will be more than happy!

today i was at the mechanic... he done a lot of test with insta. every component of the engine is fine , he tested charge system everything ok .. he also installed correctly the charge pipes (vrsf) , now the engine cover fit and there is no gap ...

After i left to go home , LIMP MODE ... again... bm3 custom tune is not right and i will not say tuner name until this is resolved. i will attach some pics with error immediately after limp mode. i will change low pressure sensor.. and tomorrow i will do stock dyno ..
