I heard VPC only works on the weekends if there is a large shipment and they have a backlog they're catching up on. Probably won't be working on our cars till Monday.

My M3 was unloaded last Friday, but not checked in until Monday where it sat until it was released to the carrier Friday morning. Waiting on a call from my dealer today hopefully saying it's on the truck headed for TX, but not getting my hopes up. He mentioned the issue some other people had with M4's sitting and waiting a week or two a couple of weeks ago. No info on why. It just happens.

We were just coming home, going through Jacksonville and saw two trucks loaded with M cars heading West on I-10, this would have been about 3:30-4:00pm today. Not sure if the VPC is working, but the truck lines sure are. Also saw three trucks with mini's on them heading South on I-95 from Brunswick to Jax.

Unfortunately we saw nothing going North. But if they went South and West, they had to be going North. Wife wanted to drive by the port, but it was getting late and a bit off the main road.

Frustrating for me
My M4 arrived to Brunswick 15 days ago and I am still waiting for a real update. Dealer showed a est delivery date of 8/8 (yesterday) and nothing arrived now today either. I keep getting the "it's been released to the carrier, will call you when it arrives." Lame response. Doesn't anyone think differently...get creative...make a phone call or two to figure the real story?
Anyway, I'm in Atl, it's hard to understand how a car can arrive 15 days ago and still not make it thru customs/VPC and a 5 hour truck ride to my dealer. Maddening. |

The trucks we saw with the M,s was going west from Jax. We did not see anything going into Jax except mini's and a lot of other car haulers. None that I saw had BMW's on them. But we had a lot of rain hitting us from Jax all the way to Savannah. Sorry.

How do you find out anything about your car at the Brunswick VPC? I cannot find a website where I can check status of my car there. I know the ship was moored on Nov 15th.

If it makes you feel any better, I live in Western Poland and my car was in Germany for like 3 weeks after being completed before even being put on a truck at which point it went to a location in central poland to wait another week for a transport to my city...
