I do, but I've learned it's incredibly difficult to compare %'s to other people's %'s of reductions. So many variables with wheel size, tire size, tire compound, road temperatures, power level/stages... etc. It's definitely a nice feature to have though. I wish they could finite the increments by 5% steps vs 10% increments. Or even better, boost by gear and RPM! 😎

Ok a quick update from me.

I’ve been running the CS map on my manual F80 since early this year and while I like it, I experienced near stalls on cold start when I would just start the car and drive. I actually had to slip the clutch into first and from first to second so the car would not stall. Once it warmed up it was fine.
I always thought this was the result of cold start delete - boy was I wrong.

I recently upgraded my crank hub (Thanks Kies Motorsports) and was brave enough to load the latest Stage 1. Let me tell you - the power is amazing but The most amazing thing is that cold starts are no longer jerky! I can start the car in the AM and just start driving and the car doesn’t jerk or cough.

So thank you Protuningfreaks for creating an amazing map!

Purchased myself the BM3 license during Black Friday and very happy with it.
Running the CS map for now, because i just purchased the car and is now winter here. So want to know the car first before crancking up the power :P

Nice additions to the software would be the flash for the GHAS, EDC and steering from GTS. Would make it complete.

Newbie to bootmod3 here.

The CS+ tune under OTS maps is not one of the "free" maps.
Does that mean that if I get that tune, I would then have to pay if I want to get the Stage 1 tune?

If not free you will need to buy additional map credits for another non free one

Did they change that? It was one of the free ones when I bought a few months ago.

It's there, but it's no longer tagged "free".

Have you already selected your free map. I.e stage 1 or 2? If so go try and download it.

Stage 1 OTS with secondary cat delete only. Everything else stock on a 2017 F82 ZCP

Car made 500hp exactly (at the flywheel) on 99RON fuel. However, this was on a “heartbreaker” dyno in the UK so read into the huge figures seen elsewhere with a pinch of salt.

I’m adding decat downpipes and will go stage 2 OTS map in a few months, and will run on the same dyno afterwards of course for a real world comparison.

Hey Halim! I’ve been running the latest CS+ map since November and can confirm the throttle surge is still there

This has also been discussed here:
https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...76&postcount=4

I've started to track my car more often recently as a new track has opened close to me and have been running the CS+ map for a few months now (as it is more than enough power for my driving skills honestly). However, I'm probably going to flash back to stock for my next track session because of the boost surging on the CS+.

P.S. I've had no boost surging issues on the Stage 2 and E30 maps.

I've been running the cs+ map since it was in beta and haven't noticed any issues with driveability

Can someone clearly describe what you're all feeling, at what rpm, throttle load etc, and I'll go try simulate same condition

It doesn’t happen all the time but it tends to happen at the worst of times. It happens when you are holding throttle at load(either up a steep hill or during mid/high speed corner. Without moving you pedal the car/throttle would have a split second surge(0-100 power) and is enough to break the rear loose. This is bad enough when you are hitting the apex on a corner and the rear just flings out for no reason. On the uphill scenario you would feel traction break during that split second but it happens getting onto the highway which is unnerving

What would GTS burble settings be on the sliders? By default it was on 5/12 and not aggressive enough so I bumped it to 6 for both Sport and Sport+
