Passenger door rattles
Hi,
From few weeks I have very loud rattle from passenger door. Noise is coming from area few inches below speaker on every even smallest bump. Its very annoying. Sound is almost identical like in this video: but in my opinion it is not a speaker. I went to dealer they checked lock and put tape and foam inside. Noise is still there just a little bit quieter. It disappear completely only when window is full down. When window is even 1 inch up - rattle is back. Please help its so annoying! Any ideas? Sorry for my English! Same problem here, always thought it was the speaker because when I press on the speaker grill it goes away. one of the main reasons I switched off ASD , every time I went past 4krpm the speaker would rattle out of control. Do you guys also get an outrageous rattle in front of the dashboard right under the windshield?

Thanks but that is not it. This is going to sound dumb but when I turn the speakers on I cannot hear the noise (even at extremely low volume). It seems like it may be speaker related as powering off the stereo seems to make it worse (ambient noise aside)

I had my entire door panel replaced. It was quiet over a few months and then it came back again. Didn't bother having the dealer touch it again since it took them over a week to replace the panel.

Same problem here with my 2017 M4 CP. The seat is also annoying with rattling with the leather hitting the plastic on the sides. Going to take it to the dealer once I pinpoint the problem.

I wondered why I missed the rattle when I did a test drive before buying my 2017 f80. I realized that it was the door locks and when I engaged the auto lock after the doors locked it was quiet. Just a few minor squeaks which I fixed with gummi pfledge.
