Carbon ceramic brake service

Hey guys, what type of service would BMW CCB need? At what mile of normal usage would it require maintence. And are there any negative drawbacks to owning CCB's?

I'm at 19k miles on my car and according to my maintenance reminder I still have a lot of life left.

Pros:
  • Less unsprung weight
  • Better track performance with minimal fade
  • Zero brake dust. Ever.
  • Amazing pedal feel
  • BLING factor is off the chart.
  • Rotors should last the life of the car if you don't track it
Cons:
  • Expensive
  • Fragile, be extra careful when swapping wheels
  • Noisy
  • Sketchy as hell when wet, I thought my brakes didn't work the first time I tried them in heavy rain.
