Yeah, a 500 mile car for 28.2% off of MSRP.

I'll take it!

Look out below when the new M3's start hitting the streets next year.

True..and thanks everyone for the input!

Heres the deal I ended up going with.

Lease on an 18' M3 - 1400 miles ( was an executive loaner)
Sakhir Orange
DCT
ZCP
Exec
Drivers assist package
Extended leather merino
Carbon Ceramics

36mo 15k miles/year ( I do plan on driving the car)
$0 down (excluding purchased 7x MSD's) so will get that money back at the end
pmt is 870'ish

Car had a 92K sticker, dealer was selling for 75. Residual $53K

Compared to the "deal" i posted yesterday, this seems like a MUCH better option..

Getting an offer for a 2018 M3 with comp pack, executive, drive assist, m performance exhaust, CF front splitter, mirror cap etc etc all factory installed. Pretty much every option you can get

How does this look

24 month/10K miles lease

msrp: 95K
Discount 18% on msrp
MF .00165
Residual 67%
no msd and nothing due at signing
855/month tax inclusive (9.5% tax rate)

Also, I'd like to know if this will be a difficult lease to transfer after a year in terms of payment for potential buyers

Thanks!

It would be decent payment for this MSRP at 36mo lease, but feels high for 24mo. I guess discount already includes incentives? I'd try to push for this discount before incentives.

For lease transfer I think it's not bad payment, you might need to do a bit of incentive to get it offloaded (also high residual might scare some buyers)

Discount is off msrp only.
The incentive is $3500 for lease
Didn't qualify for any loyalty or OL codes, so just the $3500
For 36 month, payments were almost the same...slightly lower.

it looks like BMWusa now has a $5750 lease credit on 2019 M4's

I was able to automatically get an 11.5% off MSRP here in Florida, and they applied the original $3250 lease credit (from last week). Seems like there is now a $5750 lease credit this week, I'm having the dealer check into this to make sure BMWUSA's website is accurate.

my out the door price would be about 68K on a 83K MSRP M4, but the lease rates with a $4825 due at signing is still $822 (with taxes), so it sounds the money factor may be high. I have not negotiated anything yet, that was their offer to me. I think I can get it down to the upper $700 range without much effort, especially since the car has been sitting there for almost a year if not longer.

Wow, that's amazing, I just paid a deposit for 2019 M4 at 83k also, but 3k upfront and 980 per month.

Getting to the 800s would be insane, the savings would far outweigh what I lost on 1k deposit. Didn't realize I could get it for that low, not sure what I should do now... would those type of numbers be achievable in the NY area? Haven't picked up car yet or signed lease papers, that was the plan this weekend...

No problem, still working deals myself currently. Some of these 106k M4 CS deals may end up not much more than a 83k M4 Competition, just wish there were more colors other than BSM...

I had a cheaper deal on a 2018 CS then on the 2020 M4 I just ordered. $100 per month difference. I just didn't want to give up Comfort Access and a few of the other Amenities.

Any reason you didn't go for a 2019 with the $9250 rebate available now (plus whatever you can negotiate with sticker)? Might be worthwhile to do an auto trader nationwide search to see if you can find a ZCP with all of the options that you want. That's what I did.
I tried but I couldn't find exactly what I wanted on a dealers lot for a 2019. Actually I did find two at BMW of Austin but they wouldn't work with me. They wanted over $1100 a month for a 2019 ZCP. I laughed and then they were like we don't want to make deals with out of staters. Losers!

So I said fuck it and ordered the exact car I wanted. You only live once.

You laugh at that payment but I was quoted that when I was shopping for a fkn X4 M40i before going back to Audi. I was shocked when multiple dealers sent me emails all consistently over 11xx/mo for a 3/36.

I can't imagine the sucker that would pay that amount on a fake-M.

$9250 rebate? i thought it was $5750 + $2500 (loyalty) = $8250?

That's craziness. There are too many fake ///Ms in the world as far as I'm concerned. I'm curious what they are gonna want for the X3M? $1500 a month? Haha. Yeah that's worth it. Not!

Folks.

How much << read big>> of a discount do you think there is on this car:

Msrp ; 91585

Selling price : 81985 - 4250 rebates/ loyalty

See attached window sticker and lease offer.

I see the money factor is slightly marked up. That is not the issue here. Also, disregard all of the sales tax stuff. Illinois / Chicago is stupid . I have a solution.

I just don't know if there is any room for a bigger discount . I think they are making 1390 ish. Seems ok on a 91k M3

I could push for 12% off - incentives // base money factor but the ca is cool . They gotta make some money.

So please focus on the discount off msrp if possible .

Thanks

CarGurus says the car has been there 293 days.

I would want at least 15-18% off before incentives. Mainly because that MSRP is crazy. It's a loaded dct car with comp pack, and the 763M tire set for another $5500! That's crazy to order that on top of the comp package, when you don't even get the comp wheels to sell. I can see why this car has been sitting for almost 300 days.

I was negotiating around for 2018 and BMW west Houston agreed for one time payment $28729 10k for 36 months , the good thing was i asked them for a one time pay which will reduce the tax to 1%

I bought another one so if any one wants to pick it, its still there and they have two black on black .

Can you walk us through how you got there? What discounts off msrp, rebates, etc?

I was not negotiating for a lease, lease was my second option . My intention was to get them to the lowest possible MSRP, which they came down to 85k which is a straight 10k discount .

The MF they told me was .0021 which is 5% interest and the residual was 61%

They still have that Car in stock , i did not buy it , you can negotiate and ship it wherever you want it. I am sure they will honor these numbers. They are not showing that in their inventory so you will never find it.They are keeping that as demo but its not a demo.

Don't do it. I negotiated a 101k something CS down to 79k with finance incentives at the end of April. I didn't pull the trigger because I still thought it was too much money for a 3 series. Sorry, but I draw the line at 70k for a 3 series, but that's just my tolerance. I ended up finding a used 500 mile loaded M3 comp with carbon everything and MPE all from the factory with a sticker of 96.1K for 69K from a private seller car guy. Flew in and picked it up and drove it home 800 miles a few weeks ago and it's awesome and a brand new car. When he bought it last November, he had it transported to his house from a dealer several hundred miles away so he started driving it with around 3 miles on it. The fact that I knew this car wasn't a demo car and was from a private seller attracted me to this deal even though I had to fly to pick it up which was a $300 plane ticket. The best I was able to negotiate on a brand new M3 comp from a dealer was around 75k on 85k stickers similar to what you are being offered. So moral of the story, shop around. There are deals out there.
