My usual destination is Harriman State Park. There are lots of hikers, cyclists, runners and cars up there once the sun comes up. Same story goes to any good driving roads. Trust me you don't want to get stuck behind the cyclists in the twisties. Their numbers only go up every hour. 6AM is to beat the traffic and have a decent drive without too much interruption like SkewzM3 and CWhands have mentioned.

We usually get done with driving around 8:30~ 9AM or sometimes 9:30... That's already too late for lot of us who have kids and family.. or girlfriends.

I would like to keep the meeting time at 6AM as it was originally intended.
May be for those that want to meet up late should create a Brunch Club.

Once we exit Harriman state park and get on to PIP, it's your choice to pass me and "stretch their legs" but, at the same time, I'd like to ask everyone to "not ruin it for all of us" and respect local traffic laws because we will be doing this similar route for the rest of the season and coming years.

Once the word get spread to the local authorities, they will be hunting for us. It's not like our cars don't stand out or anything even if we behave. And there will be a whole bunch of us. Pls take it to the track if you really want to stretch legs.

This is a Sunday drive. Let's leave our demons at home before coming out.
