Well, I can at least say that SCH has not been the weakest link on my journey to 600whp. Same goes for a friend with a nearly identical setup.

JB4 Map 8 (29-30 psi progressive)
Full E85 flash tune via BM3
99.99% meth pre-IC
Kittyless DPs
Aluminum chargepipes
Full catback
NGK 97506
VTT crank bolt capture

Estimated power output: 590-600whp

Car #1 Failure
1. Injector #6; replaced
2. Spark plugs; replaced
3. Leaking charge cooler coolant reservoir; replaced with CSF unit

Car #2 Failure
1. Valve lifters/valvetronic; pending repair

What were the pre-effect of both cars before they started failing or moments before?
I have 2 friends who had Injector Leak and other one Coil issue so far none with leaking charge cooler.

Car #1

1. 128 mph 1/4 mile trap speeds (expected range is between 132-133 mph)

2. Full E85 fuel was not cycled out with regular gasoline for close to 12 months.

3. Injector gave out after switching to ACN91; car was driven with E85 tune while on regular gas for less than 5 miles.

Charge cooler leak happened after injector service. Unrelated, could just be due to common failure.

------

Car #2

1. Ticking noise which was deemed to be normal DI/HPFP sound

Was speaking with a manufacture of a crank hub fix and asked why they don't use a capture on any of their highly modified cars or customers and their response was the bolt coming lose was an effect of a spin crank hub and not a cause.

At what point could this be considered a recall? Not sure how that process works...more of a curiosity question.

Given that this is largely an issue when running big power outside the manufacturers specifications, its unlikely to ever be a recall.

This is an extremely rare problem on stock cars (with the exception of a money shift).

Sorry to hear. Hopefully the repair will be reasonably affordable (under $5k).

Thanks. For whatever it may be worth, drivetrain malf came on, and really the only thing that changed was it had difficulty starting when I went to take it to the dealer.

Bounced off third is what I suspect. I know I did, it happened the day I installed the tune. I was so familiar with what third would do, and thrown off after the tune. It took about 8 days, maybe 300-400 miles for CEL to come on. I was leisurely driving to work when it came on.

I know, I just spoke to Max PSI Thursday. I purchased before I realized they were on backorder. My guys installed 3 MaxPSI kits and 0 Gintani. I hate to wait, but I guess I'll suck it up.

Mike at MaxPSI seems to think it's a firm date they'll receive them.

Same for me but on my 2019 M2C DCT...only had a few kickdowns in the 250 miles I was running stage 2...Are you going MaxPSI or Gintani? MaxPsi say's there 3 weeks out on parts and I just hate to have my car sit there for 3 weeks waiting.

What date did he give you? I'm going to call him Monday and pay for it if it's within 2 or so weeks

Fuck it I'll just have to get one from the same batch! Now to find a company to install it here in the Greater Boston Area.

Has anyone checked to see if some of these votes are legit? I see two people on here that are claiming they were pushing 550+ whp and had SCH failures but don't even own an F series better yet even post on here at all.
