BMW Connected down

My carplay and every other connected service just stopped working yesterday. I called service today and they said their system is down and are working around the clock to get it back up. Anyone else seeing this issue?

Yup mine was fine until mid-afternoon yesterday. Thought it was the phone, tried a bunch of tricks, but then realized none of the online stuff worked which is why I called.

I thought maybe I needed to renew something (I don't), but she said she couldn't even pull up my file, and she had been answering calls all night. I said I was sorry, and wished her luck! Hopefully back today. Still nothing yet.

Feels like it lol, but again, she said she had been fielding calls all night long and that it was affecting a lot of people 🤷*♂️

Phew, glad I'm not the only one...I don't know how many times I deleted and re-added my phone to the car. Good to know it's BMW issue not mine.

Same issue connected store down and carplay lost for me just left service department and they have no knowledge of this which is wild to me ! Just got off the ohone with bmw connected as well and they said service is down they are expecting it to be functional by end of this weekend possibly next

I am surprised there isn’t more chatter about this on the forum. Is it limited to certain cars?

I'm wondering the same. Would have thought this would be getting more air time, so to speak.

Fun to just relax and drive the car, but not having CarPlay is honestly a huge ass-ache.

Mine seems to be working just fine. Was able to send commands to it via the phone app. Destinations via Google Maps and wife's iPhone connected with carplay just fine.

Same here. Got back to my car at the airport today and no car play, no connected anything. Worked fine when I drove it on Monday.

All of my web based services have been down for a few days. My gps works, but it can’t search any destinations, only manual entry. Traffic info gone, etc

I've had issues for months!!!! Anytime I try to do anything from the app on my phone, it says connection with the car failed. Yet it works with the wife's X5. Called BMW Assist and they said they have been having issues with no resolution yet nor expected fix date. I don't see how this is acceptable, especially when we pay an annual fee for these services!

Yeah, even a week without service is egregious for something we pay for. Oh well, hang in there!

My car appears in the app now but CarPlay still doesn't work. Can't seem to use the Locate function in the app either.

You've got to go back into the idrive settings to activate vehicle location.

Did you purchase CarPlay through connected drive? Everything is working for me again.
