Anybody in Chicago have 666M?

Thoughts on these wheels on our wonderful streets? Or comparable shitty street environments? Nervous about these, any experience would be great. Thanks

I will be able to tell you in near future. My M4 is currently on the way to Milwaukee on a truck, I can't take delivery until they fix the knee airbag recall. Then the car will be going to LaCrosse WI. Our roads are very similar to your, pure crap! I did the Comp package so I have 20" 666 also.
Good luck, let me know how you fair.

I’m in Minneapolis so equally if not worse road conditions. It’s fine, but you need to be very, very aware at all times. There are certain roads I flat out will not drive on because I know how bad they are and there’s no room to avoid the bad pavement.

Again, as long as you’re smart about it and you pay attention you’ll be OK.

Gotta be equally careful on 19's, I've driven with both and really not much difference.

Agree with this 100% , I’ve had both as well little if no noticeable difference. I live in Milwaukee and the roads are absolutely horrible especially right after winter. Like others have said just be careful and you should be fine.

Don't hit any huge potholes and you'll be fine. On a side note I hit a big pothole in my winter wheels and it dented it a little. I had to get it replaced with a new wheel.

No tire insurance or wheel insurance. I drive an X6 now with 20”, I haven’t had any issues in the 47000 miles I’ve driven. I also have roads that I will not drive on and the roads I do drive on I dodge the bad parts.

Since 2016, only had one "blowout" out on Interstate 88 at the highway/tollway conversion out west. It was the start of the construction zone at 3am, at 75mph and I must have hit the crease at just the wrong angle.

Tire needed replaced but the wheel was fine.

I have a 2018 M3 Comp with the 666M wheels. Live in West Loop area of Chicago. No issues. Have had car for year and commute to Oak Brook area almost daily. As others have said, you just have to watch out for big potholes. However, I did get wheel and tire insurance just in case.
