Passenger rear tire keeps losing pressure

This is my first experience with run flats. Car only has about 6K miles and the rear passenger tire seems to have a leak. I wanted to know if this is something a local tire shop can address.
Any recommendations for a tire shop near Concord/Walnut Creek or Berkeley area in the bay?

Thanks!

The F80 doesn't come with run flats. Just bring it to any competent tire shop and they can patch if it needs patching.

Fill a spray bottle with soap and water.

Spray it on the tire to locate the leak. If it's a nail or something just buy a $5 plug kit and fix it yourself.

^^ This..... Soap and spray bottle is your friend here.

1) check if you have a nail/pin hole air leak around the tire
2) check if you have a leak around the TPMS sensor valve
3) check if you have a bad bead seal around the wheel

I've had all of those happen with various cars before.

I Don’t think I would plug a tire on a $80,000 car that’s capable of doing 180mph.

At lease I would not on mine.
My two cents.

lol what? Tire plugs/patches are perfectly safe and effective. Why would anyone throw hundreds of dollars away on new tires when a $30 plug will do the trick?

What does the cost of the car have to do with anything The tires on the M3 are the same ones used on much less expensive cars as well. Also who's M3 has hit 180mph? So much confusion in this post.

Plugging isn't safe and temporary. Most tire shops don't plug, they will remove the damaged tire and patch them. The modern patch has an integrated plug and strong adhesive, which will last the life of the tire and doesn't impact the speed rating.

I've ran patched tires on the track, never had any issues.

So it was a nail. I took it to the tire shop. They took the tire off and patched it.
All good now!

My opinion, patched tires are fine, plugs I personally would not do,,

And to answer the question why does the price of the car have anything to do with it ,,,,,
If the plug comes out of your tire at high speeds and tire comes apart and you crash the car that’s why. But what ever.

Guys can do as they like with there cars,, but no plugs in my performance tires, unless it a real emergency just to get it to a proper shop.

My 3 Cents ,,( I’m running out of penny’s) LOL

A cheap car can also go at high speeds... so whatever
And it’s typically two cents. You could have saved yourself a penny so you don’t run out as quickly.
